Happy Birthday Cooper!

On Mack's post I wrote a little about the Birthday Day but still getting used to having two I can't write the same for Cooper. I will say that this last week I have thought back a lot to the adventure of getting them here. I look at it as one of the best days of my life. I LOVE the day our babies are born. That January day was just going to be another day. But deep down inside I wanted it to be different. I had a scheduled appointment with the specialist I saw monthly and Drew took the day off work. The reason for the day off was... we were suppose to be getting the news about the discordance in growth with the babies. The thing that sticks out in our minds is when the specialist walked in our room after only previewing our preliminary ultrasound pics and told us it was time to have the babies! I was kidding myself when I told the rad tech I was o.k. that day and that I would wait until Dr. Leavitt said I could have the babies. I wanted them to come today! Not being able see the babies with Liberty and Burton was a hard thing for them at the time too. More for Liberty than Burton. Looking only through a window was not acceptable. The weather was horrible last year driving to Idaho Falls to see them everyday but wonderful to watch once we were home and NOT going anywhere until March 23. The twins didn't go anywhere until then. They only went to the Doctor, and Grandma's and Grandpa's a couple of times before that. There is alot I could say but baby picture above is one of my favorites. They from day one have been connected. Always still in one another's space. I love looking into their isolette and seeing them hold hands or arms drapped across one another's body, or even pulling on each other's ears. Now when they are close Mack will bite Cooper's finger, or Grab Coops binkie... look at it.... then throw it! Well, WE love these boys. They still can't get loved enough by the older brother and sister . Cooper is not far from walking. He is a kid full of expression. He loves to clap and sing "If your happy and you know it" or "bringing home a baby bumble bee." He is just like Drew and can laugh at anything.
