Happy Birthday.....Burton!

We hosted a GETCHA' HEAD IN THE GAME party for all the boy cousins around his age. The party was complete with uniforms, gatorade, and a cute high school senior named ZAK who agreed to be their coach.
TEAM shot.....Coach ZAK (Liberty now wants to play basketball with a coach like Zak....he's a cutie....but I told her he was too old to be her coach so she agreed on letting him marry Melody.... a little problem there too, but she is trying to keep this kid around....HE was so fun to have as a coach)
Burton & Mack, Sam, Nathan, Briggs, Caleb, Bree, Liberty & Cooper

Burton's NEW trick BIKE.....so I am wondering what kind of accidents come with trick bikes?........

I needed to record his birthday but my exhaustion is overwhelming.....It is so hard to party for birthdays and have your anniversary the next day, Posting more details later!

What a CRAZY day!

Hasn't the weather been beautiful? We've tried to enjoy every minute of it, seeing how the forecast says that it will soon change to cold.....again. With the playing outside comes the kids being Oh, so tired at night. Last night, even with a short little nap midday, we were grouchy by 5:00p.m. I didn't remember a window was open before I began yelling at my kids. So, this is me once again using my blog as my way to relieve the pressure from a long day. Let's start with today. Preschool DAY! In celebration of Earth Day I planned to plant Wheat Grass in pie tins to send home and then go for a walking field trip to the park to clean up garbage. I asked for parent helpers which is very needed but sometimes the kids act worse when the routine is changed and then they don't know how to act with mom there. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, I'm an idiot and not someone who comes up clever things to say until I've beat the situation over in my head a bazillion times, lost a whole night or two of sleep, recreated the situation to my mom, Drew or Camber a hundred times, and then the thing I should have said comes to my head. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Anyway, this happened with a parent today. I apologized and tried to explain myself but I don't feel like it did any good. Plus when you leave the boundaries of your normal routine, I either come away with the best we've had such a great day mood, or feel like right now. The mood where I've busted my tail off, feel exhausted, but not rewarded with the ohs and ahs that come with a GREAT day.

On the other hand my emotions have been high as things have come into play for my cousin Diana. My heart breaks all over for her once again. My stomach is sick and my breath is taken away as I try to make the world stop so I can listen to what the news has to say. So for right now when I can't make it all better for me and for her, and whoever has THOSE days I will count my blessings for what I do have right now to try and remove the stormy clouds in our forecast and pray for the sunshine to come quickly.

A Fun Family Night!

Mack's new pose....Any time you tell him to smile his hand shoots up to frame his face. The entire Provo trip..... NO SOCKS......I put them on he takes them off........We went to IKEA......WOW........I don't think we saw the whole thing........FUN STORE!

My kids love anyone that will pay attention to them.....Preston was the man of the night....He was a good sport.

Janae & Travis....Devry & Preston are leaving Friday for DISNEYLAND. Their men have never been, so this is going to be a fun trip for them. Camber, My Mom, and I got together to make cute tags and come up with ideas for everyday of their trip. They are going to a Angels and Red Sox game so I gave them sunflower seeds, and bubble gum that comes packaged in a bat, Camber made cute tags with money in little baggies so they could squish pennies, My mom made fun games to earn points by for each theme park they go to with some BIG REWARDS for the winners! So Monday night we had them all over for dinner and FHE to send them away for a week of FUN.

So.......This is March

The last week of March and First of April in the frigid weather ........we had SPRING BREAK. As I read on a blog this morning it didn't "RECHARGE my internal batteries" like I needed it to. So we planned a couple of days to Provo because the kids wanted a hotel to swim. The Anthony Clan loaded up for the trip and decided to use price line for our accommodations and ended up in a place with an outdoor pool. As part of the trip we stopped in Bountiful and finally got to meet the missionary couple, The Fredrickson's or the FREDDIES, Drew served with on his mission in Australia. The have been a hard couple to catch up with because they not only have been to Australia but Mexico, Texas, the church office buildings, and now are putting their papers in for another one. Drew and Brother Fredrickson visited alot one on one while I chased the twins, but Liberty and Burton followed Sister Fredrickson around everywhere she went. She did puzzles with them, they sat on the bar stools while she finished a salad, and dessert, and not very long into the visit Liberty just would randomly climb up on her lap and sit. It was so sweet!

Burton eating Gizzards for the first time.... YUCK! I told him he was eating lizard hearts and he finished the breading on the outside and threw away the heart. My mom has always eaten them. I remember stopping at the old Mini Barn in Blackfoot for her to get some gizzards. My other memorable experience was with Mike and Joan......they sound like you are chewing on plastic.

A first happened.... The man against cell phones got what...... A CELL PHONE.........so we had to catch it on camera to record it in history.

I wish this happened more often.... HA! HA! but do to some floaty's in the tub, I hurried him to the toilet.....just so happened that POOP happened in the toilet......Liberty and Burton were the best cheerleaders and the event was so funny I tried to capture the whole thing but Cooper got shy around the camera. Cameras aren't meant to be in the bathroom.

Blogging Blahs

I should never blog when I am tired or at the end of the day. I use this as my way to release the pressures of the day and move on. But it doesn't always sound upbeat and positive like so many blogs I love to read are. Oh, Well this is me! I also feel so very overwhelmed with technology and keeping up with the blog, making this cute memory book with the help of Blurb.com (which is for Burton's birthday but is not going to be here but hey all of it is sort of compiled on the pages it needs to be), and kids. The twins are movers and want to be outside. Trouble is I have 4 different speeds of children to chase after outside. Three of which don't understand the world doesn't revolve around them and they could get run over. Everytime the door opened today before I could get things in control, Cooper was next to the road following Burton who likes to follow the neighbor boys, who knows where Liberty is, and Mack crawling YES .....CRAWLING his way to the front door and waiting to smack is head on the sidewalk. My blessings have been the beautiful weather.....NO MUTUAL tonight thanks to the stake( I needed the break)......a call from one of my Mia Maid girls who accepted a challenge I gave a couple of weeks ago and finished. Well, Drew is back from a fire....Bless this Spring season and the people who don't think the burning after dark law doesn't apply to them. But the burning is the smell of spring here and my mom always reminds us of the love my Grandma Scott had for burning the ditches. Hope to post more tomorrow.
